I'm sure many of you have seen my plans to make a GIANT hammock and all the acoutrements. Since my plan is(I know, I know) to occasionally sleep two in it, I have another question about my PLUQ. I see everyone does the fold, and maybe an additional insulation. Would there be any reason not to just sew 2 of them together, to provide more coverage for the other hanger, other than weight and bulk? Thanks.

Much wider doesn't do you any good...

There is a sewn version that's popular, but I like to be able to use my poncho liner as a blanket sometimes... dual use and all that...

Sewn PLUQ nearly finished. I added a layer of wool blanket between them for additional, removeable warmth. Need to sew on the web loops and attach shock cord yet. This thing is seriously warm!
