Are baffles needed with climasheild or insultex underquilt?

I've never been clear on how long full, 2/3, 3/4 length quilts are, but two yards will get you 72 inches x 60 inches (most of what I've seen is 60 in wide). That's just one inch shy of my height and how much I bought for my DIY climashield UQ.

If I went 3/4th, how big would the pad need to be? I'm about 6 foot and still going, and I'd want this to last.

For my 3/4 length Climashield UQs I use 48" wide by 60" long. I can get 3 UQs out of 4 yards of Climashield. Hope this helps.
