I've never had so many problems with a company. Since I've been previously criticized for being uncivil in my previous post, I'll simply state that if you are interested in reading about my troubles with the company, please visit the following url.

From reading your little rant there, it doesn't exactly seem like you acted in a very mature manner in your dealings with the company. It might not be the "proper way to do business" but I'd be a lot less likely to help folks out if they were calling me and my employees things like "idiot" and "prick"

Just because someone sells you something doesn't give you the right to treat human beings poorly. Sounds to me like you're getting a lil dose of karma.

I must confess I am perplexed. According to the link provided the Better Business Bureau action is still pending. It seems to me the situation should be allowed to play itself out through the channels which have already been started.

Where does it state "still pending"

I beg your pardon. Perhaps I should have said "unresolved." My point stands. If you are not going to allow the BBB action to run its course before you take to the forum there is no real reason to start the action in the first place.

I see what your saying, but they have already failed once to reply, and the second notification has been sent out. That's my reasoning. I have used the BBB before and I have never had a company fail to respond, BBB member or not. Companies tend to want to reply and get these kind of issues off their mind as soon as they can to ensure reputation and customer satisfaction. Will the BBB complaint do anything? Who knows, they're simply an ambassador between consumer and business. Since The Travel Hammock/Grand Trunk is not a member of the BBB, then it won't go against their non-existent record on the BBB site.
