Made two sets of snakeskins!

And a curtain I already had laying around, I was able to make 4 skins, with no hemming needed, since the ends were already done.

The only measurement I didn't follow was total length, since these skins were for my tarp, it needed 110 inches of length, my skins total are 160, just in case I feel like rigging my tarp as a diamond.

Then when I finished I used two chairs as my 'trees' with my dad and little brother sitting in them, to setup my continuous Ridgeline using this image from a fellow here on the boards uploadfromtaptalk1357693409770.jpg

I really like the ease of setup and take down, and oh my, skins on the tarp just blow folding AWAY!

I need to make a set of these too. It seems like my head starts to swell with ideas the more time I spend on HF. What is the best material to make these out of?

I keep seeing people mentioning mesh for the tarp....aids in drying it a bit.

Mesh makes sense.

The mesh ones are very easy to make and weigh next to nothing. My tarp dries out much faster too.

I'm sure mesh will be the next set I make.

I can be a little monster with the sewing machine or 'thread injector' as you call it here. ( more manly? )

I wonder if my local Walmart has ripstop...
