What's your favorite hammock related gear?

Well ... my favorite gear is my Hammock System .... my DIY Jerry5 Hammock combined with my Hammock Gear.com Top Quilt and Crow's Nest (now the Phoenix). Not a single piece of gear for sure but a single system that works fantastic. Now as far as a rounding out of that system it'd have to be a toss up between my HG Cuben Tarp or my WB Superfly for different reasons.

Not specific only to hammocks.....but they're always with me when I'm out.

Maps.

I never get bored looking at maps and can spend hours finding new places to go, figuring out routes through tough (or easy for the kiddos) terrain, isolated hanging spots, good fishing spots, places to hide geocaches, etc., etc.

My dogs. Even if there aren't people around to share the great outdoors with, Thor and Biscuit (whose full name is "Dixie Kate Gravy Biscuit, the emergency food supply"...there's a story to that) are always there to stare at He Who Fills The Bowl.

Recently getting into making my own gear and just finished my asym tarp. May not be the best or most important piece of gear, but it is my favorite.

I am gearaholic..and you want me to tell you what my fav. piece of gear is???...just like a packrat or a raven???,,something loose and shiny???,,or everything I got is it!!!...
