RidgeRunner and Cloudburst pole mod question.

I ordered the pices for the pole mod from Quest and put them together. But I'm wondering, is there's a specific knot I should use on the shock cord?

I use any knot that stays tied and is small enough to fit.

Just checked and I used the bowline on one set and the double overhand noose on another.

Both of these where with 3/32" shock cord and would probably be too large if you are using 1/8".

How does the knot go into the poles with the closed end.

Not sure how it gets inserted and then expands to keep it in.

You use an end fitting that is made to have the shock cord tied to it...Then the shock cord holds holds the insert in place.
