I could feel the warmth from here.. Great to see so much wildlife and some of the view's of the beaches and keys were wonderful. Makes me want to pack up my swim suit and sunscreen,,,,oh ya,,i'm broke. Back to snowshoeing. Thanks for sharing.

Speaking of warmth the weather was amazing. The night time low was 74f and the daytime high was 79f. If I do a similar trip with the van I'll make a turtle dog stand to bring along.

I used to live in the Keys many moons ago. Your pictures brought back some old memories!

Nice photos, of those nice blue waters and warm sands.. Swimming in that area, seems risky with out a Chain-mail suit. Snakes, gators, stingers.. yikes.

    great report.

Looks like a gorgeous trip, there, domromer! Fun time in a beautiful area of the world.

That green and white bike: is that an aftermarket saddle? It looks a lot like my old Manhatten saddle, and I was wondering where you got it (I miss that saddle...).

    Thanks for sharing!

Stock seat, no brand name. It's covered is cotton so it gets soaked in the rain or dew and stays that way. Strange choice of seat cover material. I need to fashion a cover of sorts.

Great trip report! I love camping at Bahia Honda, but these days you have to make a reservation about a year in advance.

That is fairly odd. Definitely not the same seat, then; mine was some kind of faux leather (naugahyde, mayber?) and dried fairly quickly even when I sweated on it for 40+ miles in August down here.

    Thanks anyway!
