Been there done that and it works but is far from ideal.

I use this, but in fact just use an old yoga mat I already had, double it over. I like it alot. I already had a windshield reflector and a yoga mat, so this cost me nothing, and that is the kind of solution I like.
I like people who think outside of the box and come up with ingenious new solutions, -- especially where saving money is involved. Thanks nsdemon!
This sorta is a good system... if you experience shifting, either with a Reflectix pad, or a reflective windshield protector, a few dots of Silicone Caulking (yep - like bath and kitchen caulk) on one or both sides prevents any slippage.
~ SkyPainter - who uses Reflectix, and ThermaRest CCF pad, AND a 0* Underquilt and Topquilt in the cold!
