40 degree hammock gear burrow ?

Has anyone experimented with this t q . it looks good and the weight is right.adam makes great gear, i know from other purchases.my question is what is the temperature that you owners have found to be the bottom of the temp scale limits for the 40 degree burrow.

I've used mine in the high 30's. Kept me toasty.

I think with any insulating gear, it depends on what your sleeping in, humidity, wind, personal thermostat, and the seal to your hammock...

But I have yet to see any piece of gear made by the cottage vendors not live up to its promised temperature unless one of the above mentioned issues was substantial...

Having several Hammock Gear Burrow's I generally can get apx. 10 degrees lower then the rated temp. Now that's with wearing all my clothing and tarp pitched in storm mode to prevent any wind from robbing my heat. But I would venture to say you could get to the mid to low thirties with a 40 rated burrow. But YMMV and it just depends on the person and what cloths they are wearing to sleep.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

im using a western mountaineering 20 degree bag now.ive been down to 18 in my undies in it and been toasty.i prefer to sleep in undies to let the air to my skin at night, and let the clothes air out a little.

My 40* burrow sees the most use out of all the others. Love it! I'm a cold sleeper so I don't use it below 50* YMMV.

I like my 40° wide Burrow. It really is a nice quilt. I'm waiting to save some money up so I can afford the big brother the 20° Wide Burrow.

Ive had my 40* set down to mid to upper 30's and fine with a light baselayer on and socks etc. Low 30's with same stuff plus my down sleeves on my feet and my UL down T on . Using a thin 1/8" pad for my legs. Now a 20* UQ and a 40 Tq is a fun combonIve had low 30's no problem with a mid weight base layer and toboggan an 1/8" pad for my legs.
Probably could get that setup a bit lower.

A good pitch and location can make or break ya too. Stay on that Lee side....etc
