6' 3" 215 here. I DIY'd a 12' gathered end over the break and I slept like a baby in Panthertown last weekend. I had a doublenest but I couldn't stretch out in it. Now I can lay completely flat. 12' is the way to go!

6'6" WIth a Kammok Roo. Just delightful.

I was up to about #315 during a summer trip with it and it worked fine.

At 6'2" I'm fond of my doublenest, but there are a ton of great choices out there. I'd try some if you have that option. I tried a friend's before I got mine.

I'm 6'4 225 and the blackbird doesn't fit me. The dangerbird 72 has plenty of room though.

I'm 6'4" 225 lbs and I use the BIAS Camper Hammock. I love it. There's even enough room for my dog too. Get the knotty mod to go with it.

    Try em out

A lot of it boils down to preference. I'm 6'1" and my first DIY was a 9 footer (I actually meant to make it 10' foot, but mismeasured), and it ended up being comfortable enough for me.

I would recommend giving different lengths a try before settling on one. That way you know which works best for you.

And as always, if you get one that doesn't work, post it for sale on here, and you should be able to get most of your investment back out of it.

6'6" 250; a wbbb was my bed for 4 straight months, my first hammock and a most excellent one. If I wasn't rocking a homemade now, I'd have my eye on a dream db.
