    Polycryo Ground Cloth or Tyvek

For a ground cloth, I'm wondering if anyone has tried both of these products?

Which do you think works best & why?

It looks like the Polycryo might be lighter. I could be wrong. My math is major fuzzy.

    Here's a link to the Polycryo: http://gossamergear.com/shelters/she...th-large.html#

    Link to Tyvek: http://questoutfitters.com/uncoated_fabrics.htm#TYVEK

Or maybe something new I've not heard about yet..

Tyvek is what I use. It's OK after it gets broken in because it's noisy when it's new. You can wash it and it gets softer and after several washing's it gets as soft as a piece of silk. The one thing I don't like about it is when it gets really soft it picks up every leaf and twig and doesn't shake off. I always lay it print side down so the other side stays clean.

I have used both and I prefer polycro for summer - 3 season, and tyvek for winter (print side up so I can see it).

I used to use tyvek all year but when its muddy and wet out everything just seems to stick to tyvek and can be a royal pain to clean, as if you don't it will weigh a ton. But I washed my tyvek prior to first use, so it wasn't as loud.
