I just finished making a set of tarp beaks for my MacCat tarp from OES. I haven't sewn them to the tarp as of yet but I wanted to post some pics. I think this setup will work well for me on my thru hike. The vents at the peaks are adjustable for differnt weather conditions. I'll post some more pics when I get the tarp sewn.

Yes, it was velcro with a grossgrain backing to keep the center stiff enough to position the vents properly.
