You're just awful quick to condemn the hangers who choose other methods, despite having zero experience hanging yourself. Maybe you should get out and try it before you make such judgements?

I don't think he was condemning anything. I read that to mean he plans to enjoy the weight savings of his hammock rig when compared to the tent rig he was using.

morning all :-) just read thread again really enjoyed everyones input, Shug Utube antics kept me up late all last week, Even exchanged a few pms, I am sure he wont mind me saying he is a little bit nutts ;-) but behind all that crazyness is some who understands how to get his message across. I like him alot.

The biggest reason for me is that I'm lazy. I've been tying knots since I was 10, and I can tie most of them with my eyes closed. I'd rather throw the hammock up and not worry about it.
