    Remember, he is talking about fabric length. Factor in the hammock ridgeline length at about 83% and your are talking a length of 9'6" which easily fits under a 12' tarp.

    Update, I cut the end off about four inches and rolled it over twice re-himmed the the channel, re-whipped it and it came out 1" under eleven feet. I haven't got to lay in yet though. Probably will be tomorrow. Thanks for the help.

    The nice thing about a longer hammock is that you can always shorten it! Enjoy your hammock!
