Wilderness Logics UQ or Hammock Gear UQ?

I am new to the UQ world. I have always used a Space Blanket, a wool blanket, and a ground pad to keep my underside warm. But I am moving on now! I have done some research and I have come down to the WL's UQ and HG's UQ. I am looking to get 3/4 UQ and it doesn't get cold enough to need anything under 20 degree quilt. Prices are bout' the same.

So which do you all think I should go for?

Both would treat you really well. Flip a coin, unless one has a particular feature you really like.

I have a HammockGear Burrow and Incubator and love them both...

Right now, Wilderness Logics might have a faster turn-around as HammockGear is still pretty busy with Black Friday and Christmas orders.

You really are lucky in that you truly cannot go wrong. That said, I own a few pieces of Wilderness Logics gear and they are great but my UQ's are Hammock Gear.

i believe HG uses darts for shaping their underquilt that WL does not...otherwise they certainly look very similar

Ditto. I'm still on the fence a bit about partial underquilts (I have Incubators and really like the full coverage). But there's something about the weight and quality of the Yeti that keeps calling to me.

I love my WL stuff, but my HG Incubator is super sweet. That's a tough one, but I don't think you can wrong with either of them.

i have not used an HG UQ but they look very nice.

i own and use 3 different Wilderness Logics UQs and i am very happy with each of them.
i have a full length, a 3/4 length and a Summer Series. they all are really warm and well made.

If your are handy with a sewing machine, you can get a shell from Underquilts.com, buy some down and for about 110.00 have 15 degree underquilt. I am in the middle of of a climashield UQ, and have had to reconsider. Just something to think about.

Just out of curiosity have you considered looking at underground quilts? They offer resist down, something no other uq manufacturer offers.
