It looks like you, arczeneb, & Ripcurlksm are going up on Friday. I think you need to have someone actually staying at the site in order to keep it overnight (to avoid people buying up sites next to them for privacy).Originally Posted by medicmikep

Whoever gets there first: If they are open I would suggest placing a cooler, some chairs, hamoock, tent, or whatever on each of the spots then pay for them at the entrance. Then the other people coming up can set up on them when they arrive.
Once we figure out who is using the spots with you guys the next day we can work out the money and pay back the people that came early. I would handle this myself but really didn't plan for Friday originally and can't make it until Saturday.
I would say that if you get a couple/few next to eachother we will fill them with whomever shows up first on saturday. Later arrivals would need to grab other sites on their own that may or may not be next to them.
If you get there and see a more ideal situation or those spots are not available, by all means go ahead and grab whatever sites make sense. If we do this again next year we will be sure to pick a campground that offers reservations. Frankly I was a bit surprised there was this much response.
Much of this will need to be handled as the situation develops.
