    If there is one thing I have learned from my wife's LDS family, it's that you can always trust a Mormon to make incredible comfort food. I'm sure the chili is amazing. Somebody get this guy a ride, STAT!

    I make mean funeral potatoes, if I do say so myself. Though I include green chilis so some of the faithful have informed me it strays too far from the OG recipe. So I call them "Papas de Muerte". Maybe I need to invest in a Dutch oven to put them together for camping in the future.

    (Sorry to speak bout your background if I am crossing a line, I was just assuming based on your sig)

    From what I have read;
    Ceviche
    Dutch Over Chili
    Jalapeno Poppers/Bacon
    Funeral potatoes
    Brats ?

    Being new to your area the campsites look very nice. Like the walk in #15/16 and 38/39 if photos are fairly current.

    I won't be making Funeral Potatoes this trip, just the ceviche.

    I've stayed in #25 before and really liked it. Dibs on that one if available!

    I'm still unsure, but if I can make it- I'll be out there on Friday as well since it's my day off.

    Food wise I'm not sure, as I'm a horrible cook. This place looks like car camping, if that's the case, I'll bring a big ice chest.

    Checking your weather history for last year the temps were in the high 30's to mid 40's at night this was at Lake Elsinore. Any thoughts on firewood available on my end is the store type but not the hard wood.
