Chetter and I are heading up there tomorrow. I'm excited to set up my new Superfly complete with bright orange shock-cord and glow in the dark line-locks.
We'll be able to get a list of potential sites up next week.

So Chetter didn't make it because of car troubles but I was able to take a look around.
From what I saw, It looks like we shoudl try to make our main "base of operations" at sites 37, 38, and 39. They are close together, have (relatively) a good amount of trees, and are back in their own corner.
Adjacent to that area are sites 21-25 (we stayed at 24 this weekend) which may be a good backup plan (25 might be a good "base of operations" as well).
Worst case scenario is that we might get spread out. But the campground is small enough that we could surely just walk to eachother's sites to check them out.
Reservations are not allowed so a lot of this will depend on who gets there on Friday. Whoever gets there should park at the different sites we want and set up at least one person per site on Friday night to lay claim to them. There is an area near site 39 (behind the cattle gate) where cell phone service works. I would think whoever sets up on Friday should use that access to post the sites we will meet at here.
Sites are $20 per night, and I'm sure everybody will be happy to reimburse those that were there to lay claim to the sites on Friday. If there are issues with this I will cover the difference.

I'm from the South bay area, i would look forward, it would be my first hang !
I'm from south bay, i would like to be there, this would be my first hang....
I would be interested in going. I cant confirm yet though. I would possibly need to carpool if someone would be willing to? I'm stationed at the naval base here in San Diego temporarily and my transportation is at my next station already. I'll let you know when I get a confirmation.
