    Hmmm...

I couldn't wait. I personally wouldn't wait. Black Friday and Christmas are a long, long ways away.

    (Sorry)

I could be wrong, but I think most bigger items were somewhere around $10-$20 off? I picked up a Spindrift at the Christmas sale. I believe that Brandon offers package deals if you buy certain items together at regular price, check out his promotions page.

I bought the RR dbl with net and the lynx together prior to the sales. Far and away the most comfortable hammock/underquilt combo I own.

    Cheers

    Thanks

Thanks for the response. Was just trying to figure out if the sale would save me 5%, 10% or 20%. At around 7% it isn't worth waiting. I might be buying pretty soon.

Looks like their website is down, is for me anyway. But I paid $170 + shipping for my double layer, don't know what the full price is. $190 reg?

Congrats on some great gear. Dont be afraid to be inventive, its a vevy versitile hammock. My runner is on a diet,im getting closer to where i want to be with it. I like to shorten the spreader bars in cold weather, this utalizes all of the lynx, pulling the down up around me. I have come to using the foot end without a spreader bar at all, its still a more confy bed for me than a gathered end. I am always amazed at the ability of the lynx to function. It does not matter what i have done to alter the way im using the rr,the lynx is like the best dancing partner you will ever have, its always right there. I believe if Kirsty Allie wore a dress made of a linx, she would have won the dancing with the stars award.

I ended up caving (happily)in and bought the RR during the Christmas sale. I haven't had time to really sleep in it yet. I did have it hung in the yard for the afternoon for a nap.
Question - how many folks us a pad in the double layer model?? I put in the walmart pad and a thermarest partially inflated. The thermarest was very comfortable to me, my only issue with it is it was not wide enough. I think it is a 25" wide model.
