And both jackets while snapped together roll up and fit in one bag. AND, I could not set it up and not get in....
In the first set of pics I just have my bag of extra poles in the hammock to put a little weight in it for demonstration purposes. It conforms a LOT better with an actual living human in it.
Thanks Gothmog, that helps a bunch.
I did my first test a few days ago. Temps got down to around 43-44 degrees with really no wind to speak of. I used the JCP under & top quilt and slept in Under Armor cold gear, Under Armor cotton/poly socks and a beanie. I was comfortable until morning when my feet began to get a lil cold. It was just a little uncomfortable, certainly not unbearable.
I think with the proper dress (adding my smart wool socks & a pull over or down sweater), and/or a pad under my feet, I would be comfortable down to 40. Add a closed cell foam pad & you might get lil lower than that.
Thats another benefit of my way. Two layers of jacket under ya, front and back.
Happy Trails to one and all.
Enjoy the outdoors wisely and elevate your perspective.
