    DIOY Addiction

Did not realize how addicting the DIY bug was until I got in an order of custom labels I had made for my DIY gear.

I might in over my head. At least I know I am a long, long, long ways from producing any thing like the quality our cottage vendors make.

Oh yeah, you're in over your head for sure.
AND it's a great idea. Those are some good looking labels.

Me too, right now I'm talking to metal stampers to punch out a short run of 100 cinch buckles. Since I'm knocking out 20-30 hammocks, might as well throw a label on them.

So, uh, where'd you get the labels?

    Got them from http://www.etsy.com/shop/hobbytime?ref=seller_info.

Got them in a very short time.

Figured it would make it easy to ID my DIY gear if it had a label on it.

I am not addicted! REALLY! I can stop any time! I JUST DON'T WANT TO! Now, go away, I'm busy... um... frolicking with my sewing machine...

    Re: DIOY Addiction

Haha! I kinda did the same thing. My mother in law has an embroidery machine. I got my hands on the software and what you see for my profile picture is embroidered on my diy hammock.

DIY is always over my head but I love the idea of further customizing with some nice labels like that.

DIY is over my head too but I try anyway and have fun at it. I see some of the projects others have made and feel like the rank beginner/ amateur I am.

I knew there was something missing from my last fabric order.

Have to spend the rest of the week coming up with a label design
