It was nice to see the weather straighten out. Got to love Colorado Blue Bird days.
Glad you liked the picts. I to use trip reports to get get excited about braving the weather. It's always worth it even if your plans change do to the weather.
Your welcome.
Glad you like them.
I enjoy both solos and with friends. After my wood cutting chores I did a little reading and listen to the iPod before dinner it was great.
Thanks, I love taking picts and post them I will.
Hi Bill, 4" on the trail and and about 12" in the shade it was prefect.
I got that min/max at amazon for about $5.95 there was a big post here on HF last winter.
This a really special place to me. I go there 4-5 time a year.
Nothing like having coffee and a poptart shug style while watching the sun come up. After eating I just catnaped for a couple hours to let it warm up.
At 6am it was 27F
Hi Klauss, BIkes, kayaks, pulks I do it all to get my hammock out into the piney woods. The heated poptart was very tasty Blueberry my favorite.
Thanks it is not your typical camping spot that's for sure.
Great photos, Outandback. Looks like a great trip. I'll be taking my pulk out for a test run here in Utah this weekend and look forward to a few winter overnighters myself.
Thanks for sharing.
Jay
