Pad best fit for a BB

Thinking of switching from HH to a BB. Like the shelf and pad sleeve concept. What pads best fit the Blackbird?
    Thanks in advance.

Look for pads that are insulated and 26" wide as opposed to 20". Big Agnes makes a good one. Of course if you see a quilt in your future skip the pad and the double layer and go directly to the quilt.

I'd skip the pad and get a Wooki right away... It's the most comfortable underquilt available and it fits the BB perfectly.

If you really want to use a pad, either get the widest or make a SPE (Segmented Pad Extender). Any pad will fit the BB, because it is a double layer hammock. That means the hammock body is made of two identical layers - not one base layer with a "sleeve". Any pad that is shorter and narrower than the hammock will fit.

A klymit Static V insulated pad fits nicely and provides pretty good insulation down to freezing.

Shug's got a pretty sharp video, demoing the Wooki.
    Check it out.

I agree with the Wooki. I've tried multiple hammocks and forms of insulation and it is easily the easiest and most comfortable. But if I had to use a pad I would use the Klymit Static V.
