I recall a gazillion posts of helpful information, expressions of kind heartedness, confessions of dopey acts but very, very few mean spirited comments that other forums get bogged down with. A real tribute to the members here and of course none of it happens without the fantastic moderators.

A lot of questions do get repeated over time. It is interesting to see how the group consensus evolves an how individuals respond. Except for that DuctTape guy, he inly posts worthless drivel about pads, claytor hammocks and fancee feest stoves.

Welcome aboard, even if a couple years late.

When I first joined I had the same issue, but over time noticed that the answer to some questions seemed to change either with time or circumstance. So I tried (although not exactly how successful I was) to ask my questions in a new way and tried to get people to expound on the answers provided.

Of course no one seems too terribly bothered by answering the same questions often around here. And before you know it, you'll be answering those questions for the next round of new members.

You know what's worse? It's when you ask a question, get tons of answers from all the great people here THEN realize that question had been asked and answered a dozen times over. But you know what's so great about the people here? No one says " search for it, it's been answered before...". They just help out...
