Just placed my order!!! - In Person

I am lucky enough to live about 15 minutes from Marty and Wilderness Logics. I was searching through the forums for some DIY materials and ran across their website. A quick phone call and visit to the showroom and I now have a Hammock, Suspension, Bugnet and Tarp on order to be picked up next week. I already have my eyes on a quilt...Careful if you go by there, you will be hooked!!! While the forums are a great place for info, it was really nice of Marty to spend over an hour with me making sure I had the right fit of everything I was looking for. Not only that, it is all being handcrafted in the US.

Man what luck! Living that close! I'd probably walk the street near the front entrance with a big sign saying, " Will work for gear." I couldn't take that pressure. The nearest REI is 80 miles away and I only get there 2 times a year. 15 minutes away, yea, I'd be a regular!
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.

I have an REI on the way home from work, and another 10 minutes from the house. Trust me, you don't want to live that close to you "gear pimp." It's hell on your wallet But seriously, Marty is so speedy with his orders, sometimes I wonder if he really is half a country away from me???

I would love to be able to see where all the 'magic' happens. Have a few vendors in mind I'd love to drop. Not sure they'd appreciate since I wouldn't want to leave!

Wow that sounds awesome! I too would have to try the "work for gear" sign! I would prob have to go to rehab with an unhealthy addiction if I was that close! Congrats on the new purchases! This will now be the longest week of your life
