Happy birthday to me!

No it’s not my birthday, but it felt like it. Got home from work last night to find that my Superfly tarp AND my underquilt shell had arrived at the same time. Oh my what do I tear into first? Well it’s already dark outside so no need to go out and mess with the tarp so the underquilt it is. Thank you Lost Biker that thing is FINE! You advertise that you use material seconds to keep the cost low but I flipped it over and over 5 or 6 times and I couldn’t see anything wrong in it. Guess I’m not much of a material expert. I’m going to order another one today to tweak into a top quilt. I have 10 oz of down so the plan is to set them up as spring time gear. It made me snicker when I read what was written on the masking tape, but I guess a noob might need to know that. After breakfast it’s outside to set the Superfly free from it’s box and set it up with a SLS. What a great weekend this is going to be. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME !

Fantastic! New gear always makes a good day. Check to be sure that the baffles on the quilt are not too high for a suummer quilt. May leave you with a lot of open room (I mention because I thought his quilts ranged in the 30 to 10 degrees or so).
