WTB: K-Mart Cannon Down pillow or other cheap down.

A couple of months ago, K-Mart clearanced out their cannon brand down pillows ultra cheap. I missed out...

I'm running out of cheap down... so far I've made 4 down pillows for friends here, so I need more down. . .

I can sew... reasonably well... Willing to trade down for completed hammock pillow(s) or other custom work ?

I ended up getting down pillows from Bed, Bath & Beyond, but if I had not had to have them this week, I would have probably ordered from here. The closeout prices are fantastic. With the original prices, I would guess the down is good.

The pillows I got from Bed Bath & Beyond were the "Pure Down" pillows by Hollander. $30 for standard. They ended up being pretty good. I picked out any feathers of which I could feel the quills. The down is very fluffy. Another hanger got the "Simple" down pillows from there and said he found no feathers. Those are $40/standard/16oz and $50/king/19oz. Lol, made a few pillows over the last couple weeks.. did a real good job of keeping the down contained until I dumped the trash... I thought it was snowing, but it was mid-70's outside!

My cousin and I used a king size pillow which was about 19oz-ish (if memory serves) to fill one of Lost_Biker's underquilt shells (which I was amazed by when I got it...definitely get you one of those if you're in the market for an underquilt and have some DIY skills). In filling the thing, we came across ZERO feathers, and made my workshop look like a duck exploded in it.

The important thing here is ZERO FEATHERS and probably close to 19 or 20oz of down for $40...all wrapped up in a nice Egyptian cotton bag.

yeah i'm still keeping an eye out... none at my local K-mart but i'll take another trip up there next week to look again
