    Drum Roll Please...

So we had a breezy, but beautiful January day here in OH (55 degrees) and I couldn't stay inside. I put my girls down for a nap this afternoon and went into the backyard. Halfastronomical made me a hammock in one of the Great Hammock Forums Christmas Giveaways and it came in the mail earlier in the week. I also bought a Kelty Noah's 12 Tarp and I tackled my first DIY project as I converted an old down sleeping bag into an under quilt. Well here's how it all came together...IMG_1368.jpg

Not too shabby for a noobie! Looking forward to taking this setup into the woods...

A great way to spend the afternion. Got a few minutes in myself - first in a really long time!

Nice looking setup. That's a perfect way to celebrate a warm winter day (or a cold winter day, or a rainy summer day, or a mild fall day...)!

    Nice set up.

If you have any gaps between the UQ and hammock, you may need to let out the cinch cords on the ends of the UQ and tighten the suspension. That would let the entire UQ move up to the hammock.

It was a great day. Hi 40s-low 50s. I put up my GT with my diy insultex uq & primaloft tq. I was warm enough to fall asleep.
