Kids took my Hammock

Well, I went and picked up my first hammock from walmart today and it looks like I have already lost it, lol.

Go get another one... I ended up making my daughter one of the table cloth hammock... She loves hers, and for $20 and a little time, why not...

thats not a problem, its an opportunity ( to buy more hammocks and gear )

one hammock per kid, one for each adult...no problem!!!

lol, yeah. My oldest son told me that I had to make him one now so we can make hammock bunk beds, lol. We are working on his hiking and camping skills and I hope to take him backpacking with me this summer.

My youngest likes mine so much, I had to make her one. So I asked my oldest daughter, and my son. Couldn't believe that my son didn't want one. He has now changed his mind. When I made the ones for my daughters, I asked what color they wanted. Oldest wanted blue, no problem. Jo-anns fabric had plenty. Now the youngest (7 now), she wanted a purple one, and I couldn't remember seeing any at Joanns. Started searching on line for it, then on a chance, went to Hanncocks, and what do you know, purple ripstop.

my son always took my hammock. so i had to get his own personal one. i got him a night owel from wilderness logic and its great. i never got to sleep in it cause he never lets me. kids are wonderful but it means i have to double up on all my gear. you will see me on the show hammock horders

This seems to be a common "problem". My wife lost her hammock to our oldest the second trip out with it (I wouldn't give mine up). Now all three kids have their own.
