How do you hang your SuperFly

So my Superfly will be arriving tomorrow, and I'm wondering how most of you hang them?

DO you use a single line ridgeline or just connections on both sides? I ask because in Brandon's setup video he uses two, and I've heard other people say that for a cat cut tarp you want to use two ridgelines.

My only tarp experience is with a 70D Hennessy Hex which is NOT cat cut, and I have always used a full length single ridgeline.

I have a set of Dutch Stingerz and Dutch hooks, and a spool full of 1.75mm Zing-it, so either option can be accomplished.

A friend of mine has one, he runs duel dutch tarp flies on each end, with snake skins...

I like the continuous ridgeline idea... But I would run it over the top...

Brandon recommends using two, then you can pull it real tight. With the single line, I have never been able to pull a tarp real tight. I just got my SY, and put two lines for the ridge. If you eo run a single line, you need to run it over the top......RR

I also have recently received my SuperFly and the first time I set it up, I only used one as per dejona's second diagram (bottom left corner) http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=16945

This was mainly because it allows you to easily move the tarp back and forth above the hammock as you are getting the hang tweaked. Later on I may switch to a double because I'll have more experience with the setting up of the tarp as well as it takes a lot less cordage!

That's what I use on my profly except I have a figure nine carabiner instead of dutch biners... It works and you can crank on it until the figure nine starts bending... Works well, works better with ridgeline over...

Thanks for the input guys. I think I thought up a way to utilize my Dutch StingerZ to make a continuous ridgeline that also allows the tarp to be just as tight as two separate ridgelines. I will do as you suggest and run the ridgeline above the tarp, I do like the idea of having some reasonably strong line up there to help deflect falling branches.

+3 pn this method, gotta have the dutchware to make it right. Maximum adjustability for single handed tarp set up.

I saw this the other day, and had forgot all about it. It does use more zing-it, or which ever cord your using, but still an easy set up.......RR

The method I was thinking of is very similar to this illustration, except has stingerz on both sides. I like the pictured method better, less fiddling around.
