    JC Penny puffer sleeve hat

Sorry I didn't take pics on progress but anyone that has rip these sleeves out can pretty much see what I've done. I used 3 baffles of one sleeve and added another section (big head) to make it big enough to fit me. I also sacrificed a fleece baklava that I bought on clearance at wally world for a buck to make the head band. The loose down will have to be removed from the fleece with a lint roller but that's no big deal. I may go back and tweak it and add some stiches to make it look better but it's light, warm and is another use of the sleeves

I'm definitely gonna add some stitching to make it look better. Lovin' how light and warm it is.

There needs to a diy award for the person who comes up with and makes the most amount of things to remake the jcp donor jacket into. Useful items. The hat looks great. Would look better on my head. Adding to my to do list.

I cut the sleeves off the two 4x jackets the other night to use for a light weight uq and was planning on using one of them for a hat also. Glad to see how you did it, will help with mine. I am also trying to figure out a way to make some down booties out of the other sleeves I have left

Any insight on how to do this, booties? This is my first time with any diy project...perhaps another thread? (and possibly another jacket lol)
