Thanks just what I was looking for
GB,
You may want to make just 1 set (2 doors) at a time. My first set I made using the size in the videos, was a bit to long across the base length for my Edge tarp. Easily solved by tying a knot in the bottom outside corner to shorten the length. The second set I shortened the base length by about 10 inches.
You could also cut out a trial pair from an old bed sheet or plastic drop cloth to check the size.
They are a great addition to the set up. A little heavy, but only brought along when needed and a heck of a lot cheaper than a new big tarp.
enjoy.

I am sorry if this is a double post, my tapatalk spazed out on me as I was posting, so I am not sure if it posted. But can one use rip stop nylon, or is the sil needed for weather proofing? I am relatively a fabric noob when it comes to these

Rip stop with DWR could be used, however, a non breathable fabric would block wind better, and waterproof will be beneficial in any rain. I would go with sil if its available.
Thank you very much for the insight. I am thinking of treating it with DWR, or just purchasing sil seconds and going that route....I realized my mistake after I bought the rip stop and I am tight on money ATM so I was hoping it would work.
But of course I want it to work properly

What season are you planning on using the beak? Just winter? I think the beak soaking up water would be a problem in rain, but not as bad in the snow.
