whats the difference between your hammock and say the standard gathered end hammock. brazillian cotton sounds kinda fancy
I'm trying a full-nighter starting tonight. UPS just delivered mine!
For me getting out of the hammock has been the only problem. In is just fine. I do have a good pillow under my knees with my insulated blanket on that for early in the morning and another smaller pillow under my head with a 90" wide tablecloth DIY that's 132 inches long. Which is why on weekends I also have my Grand daughter and one or two jealous dogs in there at the same time. Sometimes a bossy cat too.
Here's a follow-up question: Do you line the hammock with a flat sheet, or just lay directly on the material?
I use classic wool blanket for insulation, just place in hammock it and wraping myself in it as needed.

Some form of a loose UQ, or as stated above, a blanket inside the hammock?
I might try a PL loosely tied as a temp UQ.
after 2 nights in the hammock i decided to get rid of the bed, i did have some soreness in the muscles of my back for a few weeks, but it went away shortly after i got up in the morning and i attributed it to the fact that my back was getting massaged as i slept ,so to speak.
as for insulation, on my winter hammock ,i suspend an old down quilt under it with bungee cord
