I decided to hang full time when I woke up with absolutely no pain in my (formerly chronically sore) back when out camping.
When I use my nylon hammocks, I hang my UQ and am toasty warm. Last summer I found a double layer hammock that has a blanket cloth material sewn on the inside. In that, I don't need anything else under me unless it's really cold in my apartment (I don't control the heat) and then I just use a small fleece blanket.
Hanging full time is one of the best health decisions I've made, second only to quitting smoking.
