almost 5 years ago I was out with some good friends to hickory creek in Ohio, I just couldn't ever seem to sleep very long or get comfortable enough in my tent, and yes I am getting older and my bones are stiffer. I started research into hammock backpacking, 1 year of research and phone calls to mfg.'s later I bought a north american by clark, 10 degrees and at the mohican river in february I set up camp, 20 degree down bag, pizza from my outback oven, I nestled in and awoke 12 hours later, not stiff, sore or cold. Used my NA for the last 4 years from Colorado to PA, My new clark 150 will be here this teusday and am off to southern ohio this long weekend to try out the new 150. I never even realized I was a so called hanger til a few months ago when a fellow backpacker told me my hammock was becoming very popular, hmmm, just joined this club today and and glad to see all of you, read your stories and relate in a very good way, thanks for letting me in and mayby we'll see one another on a trail someday, til then, LNT, your fellow hanger, union
