Taking my camping to new heights.

    Hello,
I'm rethinking sea kayak camping. Hoping that hammock technology will open up new camping possibilities on Pacific shorelines dense with temperate rainforest. Turned to HF for ideas, reviews etc. I've been experimenting with a HH Explorer Ultralight since last fall and now have a WB Traveler on order for non-bug season sleeps. Will probably be ordering a moderately large tarp sometime as well.

Thanks MedicineMan. I did the art myself. Mix of styles but mostly Nuu-Chah-Nulth from the west coast of Vancouver Island. Turned it into decals for the bow of my boat.

Enjoyed your Time Lapse Videos. Nicely done with the slow pan and tilt of the camera. Did you do that through editing?

    Welcome!

I did kayaking when I lived in Maine for a couple of years and would love to get back to it some day. There's a canoe and kayak forum in the Donating Members section of this site ... along with many other topics that you might find interesting.

Welcome Sky Guy. A bunch of folks on Westcoastpaddler hang. On your next trip on the west coast of canada ask how the hanging potential is for the particular place your going. Actually there's folks from wash. and oregon as well on the site.
