    How's my stitching look?

What do you think? Doing some practice runs. Just try to get stitch spacing correct and I like the double stitched hem. What do you guys think?

Here's the other side of the same hem.

It looks like your top tension could be adjusted a hair. If you look closely at the stitch line in the picture with the pen tip you can see little nubbies at each puncture. You are showing the twist from the other side. That should be buried in the thickness to have a _perfectly_ balanced seam. If that was the bottom of the stitch line then tighten the top tension until those nubbies disappear. If the fold was on the top, loosen the top tension until the nubbies disappear.

Yeah... it's nit-picky. The lines look good. Nicely spaced. The balance just needs a tad of adjustment.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

Just a small tension tweak needed.

    The Perfect Lock Stitch.jpg

FWIW...on a rolled hem with 1.9 oz ripstop (Hancock's) there is sufficient thickness of material to form a "perfect" stitch. In my experience, when you use thinner materials like 1.1 oz ripstop and make a hem with only two layers of fabric, there is not really sufficient thickness to completely "bury" the lock and you can typically see the "nub" from both sides.

They look good - just a little tension adjustment and it will be marvelous!
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."
