    Warbonnet

    Hey gang,

I am relatively new here and have a question on lead times for items from Warbonnet. We ordered one of their strap suspensions a week ago and have not seen any shipping confirmation. Is this common or is there something going on there? I have also sent a couple of e-mails inquiring on the ship status and seen no reply.

Just curious if this is how the "cottage industry" works.

It usually takes 1-2 weeks, so you're on track. I also saw another post where Brandon (Warbonnet owner) said he had the flu this last week so he's behind on emails. The owners of these cottage industry companies do nearly everything, so something like the flu can set you back a few days.

Give it a few days and you'll hear back. When you do get your gear you won't be disappointed. Warbonnet stuff is top notch.

+1 on breyman. Communication for these smaller businesses tends to be the most difficult point since they are not only answering questions about shipped orders and such but are educating those you contact them many times. A great deal of work, if you are the shipper, builder, administrator as well. Brandon said he was a little behind. He will get to you or most likely it is already on route!!

Like the others said I wouldn't worry about it. I ordered a superfly a week and a half ago and it showed up today, no notification. Kind of like it that way and I'm sure the mail man does too. I'm not stalking him everyday like I do after I get a notification.

Ordered a tarp and hammock last year and all I ever got was the PayPal payment confirmation and then PayPal sent me the tracking number some four weeks later. Of course that was during prime season and with the two largest items. You should be fine at this rate. Note I am so happy with the quality I will put myself through it again soon. lol.
