That was great TZ. How'd the sock fair? Did you use the pole mod wit it at all?
That sure looks like a good time, but I don't know if I can hack -15.
    Thanks for the report.
    Good luck,

Great video TZ. It was nice to meet you again. Thanks for bringing Mac along with you as well.

I never did hear, how did the new sock work for you? Was there a lot of condensation inside or did the larger holes work as planned?

I did not use the pole mod, but did use the stretch cord tie outs.
-15 was not even an issue. With no wind chill due to the sock, I am sure I could have gone probably to -30.
I dropped a quilt, left my parka off, and draped over the ridgeline, and removed sox during the night at -15. Lots of food and water is really a big factor in warm sleeping

The sock / shelter worked very well, no condensation at all. If you rubbed the inside, there was hardly any frost at all.
It was really nice to take your boots off and stand up inside, and I never had a quilt get away into the snow during the night.

Having Mac along is always fun, it keeps me from talking back to the voices in my head

You guys sure know how to make the most of it! Looks like a swell time. I saw Shug's video, too. By hauling in your gear on pulks I guess you can take pretty much what you want in the way of gear and food. Looks luxurious!
