Any patterns for a Snipe clone?

Hi, Does anyone have any plans for a hammock close to the WL Snipe design?

I would like to expand my collection of hammocks and fancy making a DIY clone as my first attempt at a home made hammock.

I don't believe there are any actual DIY plans but you can look up member Knotty's DIY design threads and that could be a good start.

It is really just a longer hammock with side cinches.

I am pretty sure that the snipe is based on Knottys stretch side hammock. I made one, before the Snipe came out, and it's my favorite.......RR

Cheers guys, I'd seen the video, that's what sold this particular hammock design to me.

I like the ability to sleep on my side / front.

As others have said, I'd start with Knotty's Stretch-Side Hammock design and extend the overall length from 126" to 132".
