I have been debating on taking my Eno Ember underquilt and cutting off the two ends to make a 3/4 underquilt to allow for a better lay. Was curious if anyone has any experience or input.

I say you sell it and buy a real UQ lol
was actually looking at a leighlo's down underquilt, just thought about doing this for a side project.
on second thought i may just take a loss and get rid of it
+1 on the Leighlo UQ
well if you dont like the eno one, i know someone who would.. or could use it actually
I got an ember CHEAP, and ended up modding it. I cut off about 6 inches and sewed a channel for shock cord. I also sewed up the bottom of the trapezoid shape to contour more to the hammock. I'll post some pics soon. All in all, too cold for 35* when I tested. Maybe 40* is a comfort limit... may higher than that... I plan to use it in the spring and fall, but will take my AH KAQ NR for any colder adventures.
