I reside in the great state of Kentucky too. I love to hike outdoors and have just recently started delving into the world of hammock camping. For years I've camped in a tent. Here recently I've started getting active in boy-scouts with my son. And now that I'm a bit further along in age I find it uncomfortable sleeping on the ground. So I bought me one of them ENO thingies that you can hang from a tree and sleep off the ground. Boy let me tell you it was the best night of sleep I've had on a camping trip since I was a young buck. So far I've been on the cheap side when it comes to keeping the rain off me while sleeping, by using disposable tarps from wally world. I'm currently investigating buying/building my own tarp/tent.
I found this site via an internet search when investigating what would be a reasonably price hammock that could hold my larger frame. I've been trolling it for some time and finally decided to make my presence officially known.
