    Ultralight/packable summer bags?

I am thinking about getting an ultra-light, super packable sleeping bag like the "The North Face Aleutian 1S 55 Degree Mummy Sleeping Bag" (1.8lbs, stuff size 7X10") as a starting place for my insulation in 60 degree plus weather (possibly paired with something like an HH Double Bubble pad).

The three ingredients I am looking for are:
    - Packed size (super small)
    - Weight (lighter is better!)
    - Price (cheap is always good)

I would love to get feedback from anyone who has this type of bag on how they like them, etc.

Lightweight camping comes with a big price tag just putting that out there. I would get the WL has a really good deal on summer top quilt and underquilt pack this will make your pack feel so much lighter. Here is a link

+1 for the Summer Series quilts! i love mine.
i use them as a liner with mt 3 season quilts to extend their range.
the SS quilts are very versatile and Wilderness Logics ROCKS!

I don't know if those diagonal baffles have a functional use but they sure do look cool!

They do look cool but I've noticed that laying on the diagonal in my hammock puts me right in line with the baffles on my under quilt

I have a Prodigy TQ and I love it. Right now I'm using it for full time sleeping with the windows open with temps in the 50's, and have had it in the 40s. Packs down to softball size. Weighs in at 1.15 pounds and can be uysed as a UQ. Best money I've ever spent on insulation.

I forgot to mention that another reason for a bag vs. quilts was so that I could also use it for tent camping with the family.

I like the idea of the under/top quilt combo. Makes sense to me for sure.
