A place to stay? Two Harbors, MN July 11th

Hello everyone! My wife and I are doing a thru hike of the SHT this July. We plan to be on the trail on July 12th which is a Friday. I was wondering if anyone could put us up one night in Two Harbors, MN on July 11th so we could make the shuttle at 0800 on the 12th. It would be the two of us and our 1 Golden Retriever, Loki. We have a car, driving up from Ohio, so wouldn't need a ride or anything. If anyone can help, we'd be very grateful. Thanks for reading.

There are several hotels in the area....small town. Have some meat loaf at Judy's Diner.

    AmericInn

I used to stay at the AmericInn when I needed a staging point. It got real crowded one time when there was a fire up in the BWCAW and the firefighters were staying there.

Prices are good, its very clean, and you can walk across the parking lot to Culvers for a ButterBurger.

Its not a place with character, you have to stay at one of the old hotels if you want that.

    Have fun!

If you go a couple miles off the highway you can camp in the national forest.

This b&b put my wife and I up in November for dirt cheap. Come and go as you please. Great place, super clean and friendly. We segment hiked the sht for four days, and used this place as "base camp". It is highly recommended.

The Americinn wants like $200/ night during the summer, and it seems to one of the least expensive in the area. Thanks for the suggestion though.

That is a good idea, my wife wants a hot shower before we officially set off though. She's all for a hotel.
