I was going to say nice writeup, sounded good, but pics or it didn't happen. Medicineman saved somebody's reputation. ;-)

The pyrotechnics were great, but I think my eyebrows are singed a bit and the footstool on my chair a little charred. It was a great time by all, and Medicineman, thanks for showing me your gear, I love those cuben socks. I truly enjoyed talking gear with you, and discussing hangs you and Poof have been on and hangs you are preparing for in the near future.
    ChickenWing, we missed you.

That looked like a great time; MedicineMan has the ability to capture the spirit and beauty of any hang, as well as demostrate an item or two for show-n-tell.

That would be me. I was hobbling on crutches and couldn't get around with a camera. I am eternally grateful that Medicineman took on the role of camp photographer and videographer this weekend! He set up a camera on a timer, so I think there will be more pics forthcoming.

Medicineman, the video is awesome!!! You must now come to every one of our hangs!!!

Looks like fun. Well, except for the supporting racism part.

Let me just clarify. No one here is racist. There has been some controversy in the past about the owner of Maurice's BBQ. There is no propaganda literature distributed there at all. The food is good and it is supporting the local economy. The references were about an issue that was unfortunately brought up in the original trip planning thread.

Thanks everybody, sadly that's all the pics I had Never found the intervalometer, probably lost it on the 1.5 hour death march Poof had me on through the park. Not only lost that but the droid time lapse failed too=555 blank pictures. Sometimes I just want to give up!
Roche, just so you know--the real spirit of this hang probably got started WELL after I was asleep at 9:30pm!
Camp photographer HA! I've been upgraded! Thanks JBD, I'm usually called much worse.
You all really do have a wonderful group of folk down there and I would seriously return just for the stew(s). I think if I hung around MBcruzin and Gresh I might actually learn how to cook versus boil aqua.
Speaking of that death march, all she let me have for lunch was an apple--so when the stew pots did open I hoovered down 4 bowls
ChickenWing-I admist the hairs on the back of my neck stood up during the pyro fest...but acts like that give me a sense of job security and I think when I go back into the cage I'll make sure we're stocked on Silvadene.
