New gear to brighten your hike or hang

JRB has added a couple of head lights to its store....

The super small Petzl has been a favorite UL item, under 1 oz incl batteries, of ours for years, since the first came out ...

The Black Diamond 90 is a ton of capability and light all for 2.2 oz including 3 AAA batteries. It is a great light for those actually night hiking or with significant night activities.

That Black Diamond Spot looks pretty attractive at 2.2 oz. for a "real" headlamp.

I have two nice headlamps (Petzl & Princeton Tec) that each weigh 3.3 oz w/3 AAA batteries.

I have another from Marmot that weighs only 1.7 oz w/battery but it's hard to walk from campfire to hammock it's so dim.

Now I know what to ask for on Valentine's Day
