Hi there and welcome!
Hi there and welcome!
hammocks sell very fast here in the for sale area.
I ordered a WBBB double in the 1.1 while they were on sale. I like the double, as I put in the CCF or pad and it doesn't move.
SO, consider selling the hammock here and picking up a used hammock. You have lots of time to test things out.

Hammock camping in a sleeping bag just adds weight. Try a top quilt and underquilt they save weight you do not want to be a victim on the at of the dreaded Cold but Syndrome on the AT that mercilessly freezes un inslated butts of noob hammock campers.

Well I'll certainly look into selling it, however, it says I need 50 posts to be able to sell, haha.

Well we can keep this thread going so that I can get there. Have any of you thru-hiked the AT in a hammock?
There are alot of AT hikers in this fourm. This fourm has a lot of the members from whiteblaze a thruhikers fourm that is awesome if you are going to do the AT they have the experience and know how to help.

Awesome. I really can't wait to just get out and do it. Why is the only thing holding me back money?! It's so frustrating!
