Sure thing - one note. It's actually 10" on each side, not 19". I fat-fingered my original entry. Still plenty of space, though.

If it's the same flu that the vaccine is out for, it's a bugger. The WORST I've ever had. 10 days down, along with sinus and ear infections. The vaccine was available at work the day I came down with it.

Any thoughts on how well the XLC will work with the Edge tarp?...might be right on the edge of decent coverage?

Is the XLC backwards compatible with all of your previous underquilts? I still have my 2007 Blackbird and Warbonnet torso underquilt that I bought alongside it (this was circa 2007 I think?). It's black and gives you the option to add or subtract layers of insulation using quilt loops. Seems like an extra foot on the hammock shouldn't throw the fit off, but just wanted to double-check.

    Feel better real soon Brandon!

i'm back working a partial day today... almost well i feel like, but i had it pretty bad, and no i didn't get the vaccine. lots of folks getting the vaccine are getting the flu soon after i've heard

as for uq's, the current yeti (less than 2 years old or so) has a pretty tight fixed suspension so i think those will require some kind of short extension cord at one or both ends, should be pretty simple though. earlier yetis had a looser suspension so they should have enough stretch to span the new distance

I hear that the best way to get rid of the flu is to send an XLC (for field testing) to the first person who offers you advice on how to get rid of the flu

I'd be interested in the answer to this question, too. I love the WBBB as is, but 1 foot more would probably make it even better. I never felt the need to remove the netting completely. I also wish the BB would still be made in 1.0 ...

What I'm curious about is weather or not you (Brandon) are going to make the original WBBB like the XLC in hopes of lightening up the original WBBB. More netting less material lighter hammock. I don't need the full zip of the XLC but I would love to see the WBBB lighten up a bit. Glad your feeling better Brandon. Cant wait to you release the XLC.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
