    Hello everyone

I just purchased a explorer deluxe zip (I am 6'6'' and I hope it fits!) and joined this site to read tips and maybe learn a few new things about hammock backpacking. I saw that Shug was a member on here and I am a long time lurker of his videos on youtube; whooo buddy. Anyways, hello all!

Welcome from Southern California!! I too am a tall hanger! 6''9'. I have never tried the Explorer but love my WBBB!! Will be purchasing a dream hammock or a Kammock Roo soon! Haven't decided which yet! Both have lots of room for the tall folk! Happy hanging!!

Welcome! With your height, you might try one of the longer hammocks, like the Kammok, DangerBird, or the new WBXLC. An 11' hammock seems more comfortable for some folks.

Ahh, I just made the order tonight. I may be a little bit too late to change my mind. That figures since I have been looking at this and the WBBB for over a year now and decided to join today. BUT, I am only 200lbs and lanky, also I am a side "scrunched up" sleeper normally so hopefully I will be alright. I have my fingers crossed. Thank you for the advice though!

If you ordered from Brandon at Warbonnet, send him an email & he'll likely be able to switch it out for the new XLC. I'd do it!

No, I got it off of ebay and it is a HH so I think I'm stuck with it. It probably will be okay for me. I am super excited to get it!

When I do get it I will be sure to post my feedback in the HH section regarding if it fits me or not! It has been hard to get a clear answer in my research. Some places say it will be no problem, others say it will be really tight.
