    ....and if you only had one tarp, I'd think most would prefer it to have doors that could be tied away, rather than no doors and getting the rain, snow, and wind where they shouldn't be.

    Oh boy. Just went through this thread, and I now share the ultimate uncertainty in my tarp choice as the OP!

    Get the doors for the peace of mind... You can always buy a smaller tarp later... But I have yet to see anyone say "man I wish I had less tarp when that big storm came through last night"... Take the weight and cover your butt, and head, and feet, and pack, and half your truck if you need to...
    Live, Laugh, Love, if that doesn't work. Load, Aim and Fire, repeat as necessary...

    I am so close to being done with my tarp!!! I have tried to take pics along the way, so once I am completely finished, I'll take some final product photos and get'em posted. I just might be able to finish it today after work.


    Is it advisable to start a new thread on my build, or just continue with this one? It's really not titled appropriately for a build, but it will show the thought process to build to final results. What do you think?
